DAFO (SWOT)

OBJECTIVES

This session is intended that, from the information gathered from the previous sessions (factory visit, site visit, benchmarking and exit to the street), weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities as construction system elements are analyzed. This analysis must be capable of guiding and be the starting point on which to work when considering new products, methods and systems.

OBJETIVOS

En esta sesión se pretende que, a partir de la información recogida a las sesiones anteriores (visita a fábrica, visita a obra, benchmarking y salida a la calle), se analicen las debilidades, amenazas, fortalezas y oportunidades de los elementos como sistema constructivo. Este análisis tiene que permitir orientar y ser el punto de partida sobre el cual trabajar a la hora de plantear nuevos productos, métodos y sistemas.

OBJETIUS

En aquesta sessió es pretén que, a partir de la informació recollida a les sessions anteriors (visita a fàbrica, visita a obra, benchmarking i sortida al carrer), s’analitzin les debilitats, amenaces, fortaleses i oportunitats del element com a sistema constructiu. Aquest anàlisi ha de permetre orientar i ser el punt de partida sobre el qual treballar a l’hora de plantejar nous productes, mètodes i sistemes.

METHODOLOGY

SWOT is to generate an internal debate among members of the working group to detect:

  • The weaknesses and difficulties that may involve introducing a new system.

  • The threats that could suppose once we adopt it as a system and incorporate to the market.

  • The strengths and advantages behave.

  • The opportunities offered at both new construction and refurbishment.

METODOLOGÍA

El DAFO consiste en generar un debate interno entre los miembros del grupo de trabajo para detectar:

  • Las debilidades que presentan y las dificultades que  puede comportar introducir un nuevo sistema.

  • Las amenazas que podrían suponer una vez lo adoptamos como sistema y su incorporación al mercado.

  • Las fortalezas que presentan y ventajas que comportan.

  • Las oportunidades que pueden ofrecer, tanto a nivel de obra nueva como de rehabilitación.

METODOLOGIA

El DAFO consisteix en generar un debat intern entre els membres del grup de treball per tal de detectar:

  • Les debilitats que presenten i les dificultats que pot comportar introduir un nou sistema. 

  • Les amenaces que podria suposar un cop l’adoptem com a sistema i la seva incorporació en el mercat. 

  • Les fortaleses que presenten, avantatges que comporten. 

  • Les oportunitats que poden oferir, tant a nivell d’obra nova com de rehabilitació.

EVALUATION

This exercise allows, to the working groups, to focus on the factors that have to structure their proposals. In some cases they will emphasis on resolving and addressing threats and weaknesses, outstanding requirements, especially in terms of customization and flexibility of solutions.

VALORACIÓN

Este ejercicio permite, a los grupos de trabajo, focalizar las premisas que han de vertebrar sus propuestas. En algunos casos harán énfasis en resolver y afrontar las amenazas y debilidades, las exigencias pendientes, especialmente en cuanto a customización y flexibilidad de soluciones.

VALORACIÓ

Aquest exercici ha permès, als grups de treball, focalitzar les premisses que han de vertebrar les seves propostes. En alguns casos faran èmfasi en resoldre i afrontar les amenaces i debilitats, les exigències pendents, especialment en quant a customització i flexibilitat de les solucions.
